Why Are Scanners On Backorder?

Global shipping issues. A worldwide shortage of electronic chips (you know those semiconductors on motherboards of computers and phones). Free money from stimulus checks. Many factors have caused scanners to be out of stock and hard to get. Read more at our FAQ page.

Does Zip Scanners have a payment plan?

We do not, but we do have Affirm as a payment method who handles the credit checks and payment plans. I highly recommend them, because I have bought multiple expensive Made In Japan guitars through their plans.

No Sales Tax?

Yes... and no. There are some states that make it a requirement for us to charge sales tax. We have no control over it. Maybe contact your legislator? Below are the not-so-fun states:
