Did you go on a road trip, and now your device will not scan that awesome programmed list we made for you?
You vacationed in another state and scanned your surrounding area by entering a zip code after you pressed the Zip Services button. What could have caused it? No fear; this is a very simple fix:
*Note: This process also works for other Uniden devices like the SDS200, BCD436HP, BCD536HP, and HomePatrol 2.
- Turn on your device
- Press the Menu button
- Scroll to "Set Scan Selection" by turning your Volume Knob, then press down on that same knob to enter that menu.
- Next, scroll to "Select Lists to Monitor" with the same controls as the previous step.
- At the point, you should see a punch of things turned off and on. Just simply turn off "Full Database". If "Search With Scan" is on, please turn it off as well. The only things that should stay on are the lists that you are interested in.
- Just keep pressing the MENU button to get back to the scanning screen
